Warning Needed for Anti-depressants
It was reported in Reuters recently that taking anti-depressants increases the risk of suicidal thoughts in youths below 25.

One FDA analysis estimated anti-depressants could lead to 14 additional cases of suicidal thoughts or actions among every 1,000 patients treated under the age of 18. For ages 18 to 24, four additional cases could occur.

However, Dr. Darrel Reiger, research director of the American Psychiatric Association said: ‘A much greater risk of disrupted lives and suicides exists with untreated depression’.
